Ajax load results doesn’t use Ajax and reloads page

Hi,

I have a search&filter form set up on an elementor pro page for a custom post type Archive that uses a theme built archive page for the custom post type.
I am using [searchandfilter id=”3531″ action=”filter_next_query”] directly above the post widget and the shortcode in another column to show the search&filter form.
I have the form set up to use Ajax, and i have set the cache to fast in the settings.

however in your demo the content nicely refreshes using Ajax, however on my page it reloads the page and the results are very slow….

I did look to use the elementor addon you have but that just didn’t work

With Elementor, you should now be using our new Elementor extension and a different method, see here (the download for the extension is at the top of the page):

Hi Trevor,

Like I say I have already tried this extension but it didn’t work. Hence why i reverted to the shortcode.
I will give it another go and come back to you.

For The Love of god…..

So i have just re done the whole thing from start to finish using the Elementor extension I have absolutely no idea what i have done differently but it now works absolutely fine…. I had spent a couple of hours yesterday with this and couldn’t get it to work…. then reverted to the shortcode method and had it working in minutes… but today had it working with the extension in minutes…

Anyway, its working great!
