After returning no results, submit and reset buttons stop working

Like the title says once I land on a “No results found” page the submit button and reset button cease functioning.

Some of the code was older, for example the results template was still trying to call “sf_pagination_numbers” which isn’t supported anymore. Because this was throwing a fatal error it was preventing the page from loading in some of the scripts, and I think this was causing the remaining issues.
