    I am using woocommerce and I am using a different search for products than content. Search & Filter PRO is used just for content (posts and pages only). The autocomplete form used for products is not affecting how search & filter pro works and the developer of that plugin said I need to add an isp_ignore attribute. How would I go about doing this?

    Thanks!

    Hi there

    Where do you need to add this isp_ignore attribute exactly – on the form, or inputs, or something else?

    Thanks

    Thanks for the quick response! I was told I need an isp_ignore attribute added to the search box input tag

    I ended up adding this code to my site instead of using the search and filter pro widget:

    <form action=”” method=”post” class=”searchandfilter” data-sf-form-id=”34373″ data-use-history-api=”1″ data-template-loaded=”0″ data-lang-code=”” data-results-url=”http://focenter.staging.wpengine.com/search-results/&#8221; data-display-results=”archive” data-auto-update=”1″ id=”search-filter-form-34373″>

      <li class=”sf-field-search” data-sf-field-name=”search” data-sf-field-type=”search” data-sf-field-input-type=””><input isp_ignore type=”text” name=”_sf_search” placeholder=”type and hit enter…” value=””><input type=”hidden” name=”_sf_submitted” value=”1″ /><input type=”hidden” name=”_sf_form_id” value=”34373″ class=”sf_form_id” />

    </form>

    Above I added the isp ignore attribute and it seems to have removed the autocomplete feature from the instant product search which shouldn’t have been showing up anyway. Now the issue is that when I submit the search, I am still seeing products when I should only be seeing posts and pages according to how that search and filter form was setup.

    Am I doing this correctly? And how do I make sure the results show up correctly and don’t pull results from the other search box?

    OK so now I’ve setup a shortcode results page for my content only search (no products) using search filter pro. The results page has a custom template which is showing up properly.

    If I use the search filter pro widget, I can’t add the isp_ignore because there isn’t an option for this. So the results show up properly but when you start typing in the box you get the autocomplete for the product search showing up.

    I then go in and view source for this widget, copy the code exactly, and add the isp ignore to the inputs. Then I add it to a new text widget. This removes the autocomplete drop down when I start to type in the search box, but it now won’t go to the correct search results page. It should be going to the url I setup with the results shortcode but instead it returns a strange search page that I’m not familiar with and it displays products in the results when it shouldn’t.

    It’s strange because it seems to work a few times where I can type in the box without the autocomplete drop down with the correct results page, but then I start seeing the wrong results page again with products added where they shouldn’t be. Trying to get this sorted out ASAP for a client.

    Thanks!

    Hi there

    It looks like you are using S&F 1.4.3 – we are now on version 2.0.2 – I can’t provide support for outdated versions as they’re sure to have bugs!

    Please update and make sure you read the release notes first:

    Thanks
