    Hi guys,

I’m using Search & Filter pro with the Bridge theme, and am displaying my results via the theme’s results.php template.

Is it possible possible to add custom text to the top of the results page?

My filters are being used to search various products, and the client wishes to display a selected paragrph of text at the top of the results page, depending on the filters chosen.

    e.g.

Filter type chosen = White kitchen; Custom text displayed = “See our collection of white kitchens”

Filter type chosen = Wooden kitchens; Custom text displayed = “See our collection of wooden kitchens”

Is there a way to display custom text depending on the filter chosen? I am thinking of using advanced custom filters pro to enter the relevant paragraph of text.

    Any help would be appreciated!!

    Thanks
    Amigo

It IS possible, but very complex to set up. Is the search form relatively simple?

    Thanks Trevor,

Yes the search form is 2 x custom taxonomies (created to search through portfolio items), and I’ve also made them a combo box. Then a submit and reset button, that’s it.

How long would something like this take, and is there any guidance you can give? I’d really appreciate any help.

My only other option is to use the same generic text for all search results.

    Thank you!

Some time ago I did this thread:

    https://support.searchandfilter.com/forums/topic/results-displayed-results-count-searched-tag-associated-categories/

which sort of did what you want, without the links, but they are easy (ish) to add.

Trouble is, that took me days to code, days which I did not have then, and do not have now.
