    Hi!

I’ve read this doc https://searchandfilter.com/documentation/search-results/as-an-archive/ but my archive isn’t displaying the filters. I suspect that I’m doing something wrong but I’m not sure what it is!

    Can someone help me out?

    Thanks!

    You can either:

#1 Add it to a sidebar or other widget area in Appearance -> Widgets

#2 Edit the archive page PHP template (always use a child theme to do this) and add the form as a shortcode

Both methods are described here, in this documentation page:

    thanks! that did help.

    now i have a follow up 🙂

i added the filter to the widget on the right and that works. 2 questions though:

    1. Is there a way to just list the tags that I want to INclude? I have 750 tags and for one search, I literally only want to include 2 of them.

    2. If I select something that has more than a page’s worth of items, pagination is visible but doesn’t work. What am I doing wrong?

and i found out one more thing that will probably help you.

With #2, the pagination only breaks when i select multiple items from the checkbox. Pagination DOES work if i only select 1 item.

For #1, see here, use the Includes:

    https://www.screencast.com/t/Sfbmyis4M

Click the Search icon for the taxonomy (tags) and select the ones you want to use.
