ACF relationship field and Post Meta

Hi, I have Search and Filter Pro. I’ve added a Post Meta field in the Search Form UI; It’s a choice input based on a relationship type ACF field. The generated input box on the frontend shows only a list of ids of the related pages instead of their names.

Even if I switch from “get options automatically” to “Manual” in the UI and try to browse the available values, the option list is wrong: I only get post ids and not posts’ names. Why?

In the form UI, in the settings for the meta element, what is the name of the ACF field? Does it start with an underscore? If it does, scroll down the list some more and you should see it repeated, with the underscore.

No, it’s not the one that starts with the underscore, it’s the one without the underscore.

Are you just looking to get the correct labels in to your ACF relationship field?

S&F provides a filter for every field (like ACF) so you can change the options/labels in that field:

I think this user was looking for the same functionality (we don’t support relationship fields out of the box but this snippet should do the trick):

Is there a way to make it work with the combobox too? If not, don’t worry, I’ll use it this way.

You should be able to, if you choose select or multiselect input type then you can tick the combobox option 🙂
