Tagged: acf
Hi Ross,
Love your plugin, just purchased it for yet another site.
I’ve made some ACF fields and want to use them to filter. As you instruct here (http://www.designsandcode.com/wordpress-plugins/search-filter-pro/) they are in the ‘choice’ category of ACF (a couple radio dial fields). But I don’t see how to make them a filter. I only see options to add basic post taxonomies.
What am I missing?
Thx,
Jon
Hey Jon
Have you tried adding a Post Meta field to you search form?
ACF fields are stored as Post Meta, so you should be able to find them here.
Just to note, ACF normally creates two meta fields for each custom field usually one with an underscore:
_mycustomfield and mycustomfield
I think you need to use the one without the underscore mycustomfield
Thanks
