Forums › Forums › Search & Filter Pro › Ability to add Relevanssi keyword highlighting?
Hi there,
Relevanssi has a featured called keyword highlighting. I’ve tried to turn it on and get it working on my site but I haven’t been able to figure it out. There are also Relevanssi template tags to use to highlight the page title if the search term is in the title. If I used those in my custom results template would that also work? I’ve enabled Relavanssi in the Search & Filter Pro settings, turned on keyword highlighting in Relevanssi and built both indexes, can you let me know what I should try next if that feature is compatible?
Hi Marc
We never actually got round to implementing this part of Relevanssi, however its something I’ve looked at before and have an idea of how to approach.
I think what you need to do next is use the Relevanssi template tags in your results template:
https://www.relevanssi.com/user-manual/functions/#relevanssi_the_excerpt
So replace the_title
with relevanssi_the_title
etc.
Let me know if that works?
Thanks
