    Hi Ross,

I’ve installed the beta version for the test site.

How can I make it work with the woocommerce.

Could you kindly give me a guideline for setting for plugin?

    Great Thanks

    Hi Gerardo

I see what you mean now. I’m not sure but maybe WooCommerce changed the way variations work, or made the Variations post type hidden…

I didn’t change this setting, so its likely when you updated something else has changed – I’m assuming back to an old S&F won’t help in your case.

Let me have another look in to it and get back to you.

Just to let you know the next version of S&F works directly on the shop page – but this probably won’t get over your variations issue.

    Thanks

    Hey Marcus

You can access the slider by adding a “post meta” field to your search form, it is available under the number tab.

The slider works with post meta (aka custom fields) – so if the data you want is stored in post meta, and is numeric, you can create a slider.

You can do this with the woocommerce price field by looking in the dropdown for price or _price (can’t remember which one).

    Thanks

    Hello!

I have a WooCommerce product attribute for “year” and would like to be able to filter this the same way as “Price” is filtered in your WooCommerce demo, i.e with a range slider. Is this possible to do with an attribute or will it be in the future? If not possible, how can I get a range slider like you have for price, is that only for post meta values?

    Thanks.

    Hi both,

I have made some improvements in S&F 2.0 with displaying shortcodes in the search results (I think there were sometimes bugs due to admin-ajax.php requests)

I’ve also added in direct support for the WooCommerce shop page, so its even easier to configure with WooCommerce.

Need to iron out a couple of bugs tonight and then I’ll send you both the updated version.

    Thanks

    Hi Ross,
    Sorry to bother.
I’ve recently updated the woocommerce and the plugin stopped working, so I got a new licence and updated the plugin, thinking that will fix the issue, but it didn’t.
    Not sure what’s going on.
    I need some help.
    Thanks

    Hi Ross,

    Hi there,

First of all; I’m really loving this plugin. It’s by far the smoothest out there when using it with Woocommerce. However, I ran into a few problems which I didn’t manage to get fixed. I’m trying to replicate this in my theme: http://demo.designsandcode.com/sfpro-woo-mystile/product-search

It’s working fine, except in the following cases. I tried with and without Ajax and even with the Mystile theme:

    1. If I want to change the order and I don’t provide a search string, it won’t return anything. In the console I’m getting a 500 (internal server error) with the URL behind it ([…]/zoekopdracht/?sort_order=date+asc&_sfm__price=0+50). If I follow this URL, I’m getting a blank page.

    2. When clicking a product-category all’s going well. But if I click ‘All categories’ to show all the categories (like in your demo), nothing happens. The URL doesn’t change and I’m getting an error 500 in the console. If I change the price slider, I also get the same error. But if I choose a category again and choosing another option after that, it’s doing fine.

    For example Chrome’s console says:

    GET http://[...]/zoekopdracht/?_sfm__price=0+50 500 (Internal Server Error)send
    @ jquery.js?ver=1.11.2:4m.extend.ajax
    @ jquery.js?ver=1.11.2:4m.(anonymous function)
    @ jquery.js?ver=1.11.2:4fetchLegacyAjaxResults
    @ search-filter-build.js?ver=1.4.3:678submitForm
    @ search-filter-build.js?ver=1.4.3:1197

Any ideas how I can solve this problem? I’m running the latest version of WordPress and your plugin.

    Thanks in advance!

    Hey Christian

I’m wondering, are you using this for your woocommerce store?

The beta I’m working on provides integration directly with the woocommerce store itself!

Should save a lot of headache if you want to give it a spin!

    Thanks

    Hey Mahir

If you check the forums there are plenty of topics on this:

    https://support.searchandfilter.com/forums/search/woocommerce/

However, for the new S&F (v2.0) I have added in a feature to make it work directly with shop pages.

If you want I can send you this tomorrow? This is a beta though and there will be quite a few changes from the current version.

    Thanks
