Hey Klaus, I didn’t send this yet – was waiting for your confirmation – the next version has the option under “display results” – “on woocommerce shop page” – so I don’t think you’ll need to worry about any of the above.
Will send later on today.
Thanks

Can I also please get a copy of 2.0 sent over before I spend too much time working it out for Woocommerce?
Cheers,
Gabriel

OK, I found a workaround for the moment: Not using archive page anymore, but made a new (blank) page, and using the shortcode in it – now the results are shown without the error messages!
Drawback: It is now blog style, and not Woocommerce style anymore! I saw in other threads that other people had similar problems, they could (partly) solve them – but honestly I will rather wait for 2.0 (beta) now, before investing further time.
Thanks
Klaus
Hey Klaus
I’m afraid I really have no idea what the issue could be – I’ve setup so many installs since we last communicated and there is no issue with the plugins directly – so it must be something else in your setup.
To test the theory – try creating a clean install and only install wpml + S&F pro – and see if the issues exist?
There is a possibility however that 2.0 may fix some issues for you, as there is now integration with the WooCommerce shop directly.
Shall I send over the beta to see if its working?
I would recommend to backup though as its major version change.
Thanks

Sorry to bother you again, but in the meanwhile this is really a HUGE problem! The website is live with new data, and actually cannot be used. S&F works only when I disable the WPML Translation Management plugin – but without it, the Woocommerce shop does not work properly! So at the moment I can only decide between a working shop without search, or a working search without shop… and my client is jumping, of course!
Maybe a beta of 2.0 to try?
Thanks!
Hey Gerardo
Good news…! I completed integration with product variations 😀
So in the next version of S&F, you can use it directly on your shop page using your shop template, as well as direct support for product variations, so you can use attributes and post meta no problem – the price slider also correctly searches in variations 😀
I know the latest S&F works with Relevanssi also, but I haven’t tested Relevanssi + WooCommerce + S&F yet.
Do you want me to send you a copy?
Thanks

Please send me a copy of the beta 2.0
I am attempting to make the search work with woocommerce and you’re saying 2.0 addresses many problems.
I would rather not spend many hours to get this working if it will work instantly with 2.0.
Thank you for your help,

Can I get a beta copy of 2.0?
I just bought a developer license and I’m using it to integrate with WooCommerce.
I saw in a few of your replies that version 2.0 integrates better with WooCommerce.
Can I go ahead and try it out so I don’t waste time trying to get the older version cooperating?
Thanks,
-James Day

Hey Ross,
after contacting you one month ago, we still have the same problems with the result page.
In relation to that we tried to convert all of your steps in order to create a woocommerce results page. But it still doesn´t work.
Would it be possible to send us a beta version of 2.0 to go further with our Business?
Best regards,
Max

So I have sort of figured this out – the body classes –
Search and Filter Search Results Page –
<body class=”blog gecko alt-style-default boxed-layout two-col-right width-930 two-col-right-930″>
Woocommerce Archive Product Results Page –
<body class=”archive tax-product_cat term-afghan term-297 woocommerce woocommerce-page gecko alt-style-default boxed-layout two-col-right width-930 two-col-right-930″>
So the Search and Filter template needs those body classes that are missing, I see the code in your link but just so I don’t mess anything up can you confirm what the code should look like in my case?
Thanks so much for your help!
