Hello,
I have a page where I am using the “Search & Filter – Elementor Extension” and each time it is accessed, the error_log increases in size.
I have had Elementor support look at it as the log file lead me to believe it was an Elementor issue and they have responded that it is the S&F extension causing the issue.
I will post the details in the next post so I can mark it Private.
Thanks.
How long has this site been live with these searches, and did you recently update Elementor Pro?
The method of integration used by you on this site is old and may be the reason why it longer works as it did.
Our new integration method, which does not use the filter_next_query or the scrip the old method used, but instead uses a new addon extension, is documented here (the extension download is at the top of the page):

I should also mention that I am using Elementor with a custom Archive page. The Post Widget is being used and I am using the Search & Filter Pro Elementor plugin to connect your product to my post feed.
As I said before, we do not support the free version of Elementor, because it does not have a Posts (grid) widget. Using the free version of Elementor, to get a Post widget, you have used a third party plugin. We do not support these either.
Might I suggest this alternate integration instead:
https://searchandfilter.com/documentation/3rd-party/post-grid/
I can see a number of issues. So, we will take the duplicating posts issue first, because if we cannot get that to work, the other issues may not matter so much.
The plugin you are using to display the posts is one that we do not support. At this time, we support only the Posts and associated widgets from Elementor Pro, which I do not think you have installed. I think you have only the free version of Elementor.
Does the issue happen if you switch off Ajax in our form?
I can see the issue in what you show. You have used the same term source (‘Category’) more than once in the form. Please see this post for explanation, guidance and resources that you can use:

but due to the private parts i could not totally figure out the solution

Hi Trevor
I installed the plugin already but that didnt help me yet.
I have set the display method to “Elementor Post/Product/Portfolio Widget” and set the url
to https://wonbibliotheek.wp-websites.nl/bestanden/
When filtering the url changes (for example https://wonbibliotheek.wp-websites.nl/bestanden/?_sfm_leerjaar=1) but the results did not change
You should be using the Elementor extension and method from this guide (download the extension from the top of the guide):
https://searchandfilter.com/documentation/3rd-party/elementor/
We don’t officially support the custom skins made by Ele Custom Skins, but try it and see.
You may need to use some form of page builder (like Elementor Pro or a similar plugin) or use this method, when working with the Astra theme:
https://searchandfilter.com/documentation/3rd-party/post-grid/
This is because Astra is a framework and not so easy to be able to modify (the construction of pages is hidden in their framework code).
