For Elementor Pro, you should really (best) use the free extension that can be downloaded here, and follow this guide:
https://searchandfilter.com/documentation/3rd-party/elementor/
Did you use that?

ok so i think i’ve figured this out. I’ve created product archive templates inside elementor and included the “wine search and filter” that i create and then set a condition on the template to only show on the Wine category. Here is the page:
http://dev.rockymountainwinespiritsbeer.com/product-category/wine
The filtering is working correctly however, if you select “red”, it filters the page but the select box does not stay selected. How can I fix this?

Hi, so I deactivated all plugins except: Elementor, ELementor Pro, Custom Post Type UI, ACF and Search & Filter Pro … but there is no change. It still behaves the same. I realized, that when I refresh the page with chosen region filter, it behaves correct and from the url dissapears “/” in url – https://kavaspojuje.cz/kavarny/?_sfm_kavarna_kraj=Jihomoravsk%C3%BD%20kraj after refresh it is https://kavaspojuje.cz/kavarny?_sfm_kavarna_kraj=Jihomoravsk%C3%BD%20kraj (see missing “/” after the word kavarny). Another thing I realized is, that in region Jihomoravský kraj there are 24 results, but in city filter Brno there is 22 (the other cities are in different regions).
How complete is the site, or are you just starting to build it? Correct post, taxonomy and data structure are vital to make your design process much easier.
Are you using WooCommerce?
Are you using the Elementor product archive elements?
Can you give me links to the Wine and Beer pages?

Hi,
I’m using Elementor pro to build an online liquor store. I’d like to have different search and filter sidebars for each category. For example, when viewing Wine, i want to have search filters like “vintage”, “region”, etc. However, when on the beer category, i want the ability to filter by “style”. When on each category page, i only want the filters showing that pertain to that category. Is this possible?
I’ve tried a few different things but can’t seem to get it to work.
Thanks in advance.

Hi, Ross!!
Can you post an example with the filter for the current category of the archive, please? It’s been 5 hours and still can’t achieve it 😟 . I’m using Elementor Pro. Thanks!
Are you using Elementor AND Elementor Pro? Our plugin supports the Pro addon (but not the free version on its own):

Hmmmm, its a tricky one, because Elementor will surely release this as a feature, which means we will need to retire ours, and you will find yourself in this position all over again in the future…
I can probably add a filter to our plugin to allow you to modify this… (which again will become redundant when Elementor implement it) let me have a little think about the best approach and I’ll come back to you towards the end of the day or tomorrow.
Best
