    Hi,

I m a beginner on WP and I need some help about the configuration.

I need to create 2 filter on my projects with :
    – Category (Choice : Session 1 or Session 2)
    – Tags (Choice : around 20 instruments)

I created a filter and I insered the shortcode in the page but I have a lot of trouble :
1/ Choice of Category and Tags doesn’t appear. I changed the input types but at each times, just the title of the filter and thee choices All categorie and Non classé appear… (In Radio types, nothing appear)

I followed the tutorial on SF PRO docs many times but I don’t understand where is my mistake.

2 / I would like the search and filter on the top of my webpage like your second screenshot on http://www.designsandcode.com/wordpress-plugins/search-filter/
    and I can’t find how i can do…

3 / All the results appear before the search and the title and the picture of the projects takes all the available space in the webpage. I woulf like 3-4 results by line, like a portfolio (with clickable picture and title), it sounds like also a woocommerce results (but I havn’t commerce 😉 )
Also, at the stop of eeach results, a code appear like that :

    [et_pb_section admin_label= »section » background_color= »#132c47″ inner_shadow= »off » parallax= »on »][et_pb_row admin_label= »row »][et_pb_column type= »4_4″][et_pb_divider admin_label= »Divider » color= »#ffffff » show_divider= »off » height= »60″] [/et_pb_divider][et_pb_text admin_label= »Text » background_layout= »dark » text_orientation= »center »] Product Features [/et_pb_text][/et_pb_column][/et_pb_row][et_pb_row admin_label= »row »][et_pb_column type= »4_4″][et_pb_image admin_label= »Image » src= »http://elegantthemesimages.com/images/premade/d2-placeholder-1920.jpg » url_new_window= »off » animation= »bottom » show_in_lightbox= »off »] [/et_pb_image][/et_pb_column][/et_pb_row][et_pb_row admin_label= »row »][et_pb_column type= »1_4″][et_pb_blurb admin_label= »Blurb » title= »Advanced Page Builder » url_new_window= »off » animation= »top » background_layout= »dark » text_orientation= »center » use_icon= »on » use_circle= »on » circle_color= »#0d2035″ use_circle_border= »off » circle_border_color= »#2caaca » icon_placement= »top » font_icon= » » icon_color= »#2ea3f2″] Divi will change the way you build websites forever. The advanced […]

Waiting hearing from you, I think it is just a basic configuration problem…

I’m sorry for my bad level in english, I hope you could understand.

    Thanks! I followed this:::::
!!!!!!1.Create a folder in your theme folder called search-filter.
2.Copy the file wp-content\plugins\search-filter\templates\results.php from the templates folder in to the newly created folder in your theme – wp-content\themes\your-theme-name\search-filter\results.php

From now on, Search & Filter will load this version of the template instead of its own – so you can make any customisations that are necessary.!!!!!

Search & Filter works and loads the Divi created Page, However this page does not honor all of the CSS code(as woocommerce and Divi do) and all of the other pages do. Any ideas>? This is my last hurdle!

I followed your doc to use display search results using your short codes.. I created a divi page called search_results and pointed your software to it….Page comes up, displays your search criteria and the results of the search…But the image shows gigantic, text appears way too big and is not following any of the DIVI and Woocommerce settings….Where is your plugin getting font sizes, image sizes etc. and how do I make the search follow the rules…..thanks

Hi Marjan, Ross, that does indeed sound uncannily llike the problem I am referring to but I just want to double check.Do you mean to say that when each individual product link is clicked on it should take the user to the woocommerce product page? But right now it just refreshes the results page? Also the user should be able to activate the filter while remaining on that page, just like in the movies demo. If so, then yep that is certainly not working for me either at the moment and I await the update.Regardless, I would still very much like to see the template filed for the demos, in particular the movies one because I like their setup.Thank you

    Hi,

When reading this forum I noticed that Search & Filter does not work when any of “restrict widget” plugins are enabled. I tried some of them (Widget Logic, Widget Logic By Path, Display Widget, Restrict Widget, Widgets Controller, Widget Context), but with none of them AJAX search seems to work.

Is there any way how to restrict Search & Filter widget to specific page AND to use AJAX search?

Also do you have any suggestions what custom search template should I use (or create) to display search results in the same way as on your Woocommerce demo site? I am using Divi theme.

    Thanks!
    Petr
