Hi,

I have a problem getting AJAX to work on page designed with Beaver Builder. It is not an archive or a layout / part made in Beaver Themer – just a normal page.

I am using it exactly as described here: https://searchandfilter.com/documentation/3rd-party/beaver-builder/ with the integration plugin installed and by using the normal Posts Module with the “Columns” layout (but I’ve tried Masonry too, which gave me the same result).

I have also set the Results URL correctly in settings, and it seems like it should all be working, and it does if I’m not using AJAX, but with AJAX it just “blinks”, and nothing changes when filtering.

I kept the “change URL…”-setting turned ON because it works if I go up to the browsers address bar after filtering and simply hit enter, OR if I turn AJAX off. I can’t find any console errors.

Please help me figure this out. I really want to use AJAX with this plugin.

The selection of Taxonomy Filters is made in our plugin form, not in that settings box.

Did you follow the guide, and download and install the addon (at the top of the guide page)?

I’m not sure what is the outcome of this with Beaver Builder Post.

In https://www.smarterwebsites.com.au/100-days-to-world-domination/, I like to have that category filters.

However, when I selected ‘Seach & Filter’ in source, there are no changes.

Should I see a ‘search’ field above the category filters? What should be expected here?

If you are using Beaver Builder, maybe this will be of interest (but, it might not):

The results shortcode you show is not valid, and cannot be.

When using the shortcode display method, its use is restricted to one results page. You can have the form on many pages though, but the form submission will redirect to that single results page.

If you are placing the form on taxonomy term archive pages, you can auto detect the term of that page by making sure that the taxonomy itself is in the form (if you do not want the user to see it, use custom CSS to hide it) and to select, on the General settings tab of the form, the Auto Detect option for Tags, Categories and Taxonomies.

Hey Trevor, I need to figure out a way to use one filter (with two options) as a shortcode on term pages. I am using the beaver builder.

I have 6 terms attached to a post type (member);
What I am looking for is to use the same filters (set post type and all other settings will be the same) and have the results be restricted to the term the visitor is on. I know I can duplicate the filter 6 times, but I would like to see if there is already a shortcode setting I can use. Thanks.

On term archive page using if-else or passing the current term slug:

Hi,

I’m using Pods and have two custom field on WooCommerce products event_date and end_date and I need the end user to be able to filter for these on the front end.

I’m also using Beaver Builder, Beaver Themer and PowerPack Content Grid.

Help is very much appreciated.
