Just tried to upgrade to 2.3.4 and found this is still not fixed. Been like this for months now. Dont really understand why you keep pushing out updates when this is not fixed yet.
As for this making this reply a bit more useful: here’s a temporary workaround: https://support.searchandfilter.com/forums/topic/update-to-latest-version-failed/#post-96937
Hi
I am a little confused. You bought the license only 3 weeks ago, but you are using a very old version of Search & Filter Pro (v2.3.0)? We are currently at v2.3.4.
You need to upgrade, but you must use the manual instructions here in this post:

I am on version 2.3.3. It says an update is available. But I get this message:
Update Failed: Download failed. Unauthorized
If it is an old version, you may need to follow these steps outline in this post (and/or re-enter the license key):

still I get “Download failed. Unauthorized” error when update
Hi Joshua
You have an old version of the plugin installed. Can you upgrade it? It doesn’t look like the license is activated, so it will have to be installed manually. See this post:
https://support.searchandfilter.com/forums/topic/update-to-latest-version-failed/#post-96937
Temporarily, you can update manually, per this post:
https://support.searchandfilter.com/forums/topic/update-to-latest-version-failed/#post-96937
But I will need to refer it the our owner, Ross, for further advice.

Hi
I get this error below when I try to update the Search and Filter plugin in wordpress:
Update Failed: Download failed. cURL error 51: SSL: certificate subject name ‘*.wpengine.com’ does not match target host name ‘www.designsandcode.com’
Any help on this would be greatly appreciated

Hi Vikki
It is a national holiday here today, but I will be here on and off. Did you upgrade to v2.3.3? You may need to do it manually, this post explains how if the auto update fails:

Hi, I have a developer license for Search and Filter Pro.
For a while now I have been unable to do the automatic upgrades in my WordPress admin. I have just done a manual upgrade from 2.2.0 to 2.3.0 thinking that this might help the issue. However, it doesn’t. I get the message “Update Failed: Download failed. Unauthorized”.
I have checked its licence and all is OK.
When I come to your site and login to my account I can find no download available for 2.3.3 so I can’t even do a manual upgrade now. Neither does the ‘Deactivate old sites’ part work.
Help appreciated. Thanks. Janice Tye
