Thanks for getting back to me. I built the page using the Elementor Product Archive builder and am using the “Archive Products” widget within the builder.

It all like it is setup OK. Did you use the Elementor Archive builder or a Post grid element?

Did you do that already? Looking at the form, I do not think you did, as the Display Results Method is set to Post Type Archive, but with the above method it would be Custom.

Dear Sir,

thank you for your plugin.

We used it in a WordPress-Setting with an “Elementor”-Theme. We have a problem. Look at this:

When you select both filter-boxes (created with taxonomies) and after this you click “filter”, everything works fine. When you want to filter again and reselect both boxes, and click then “filter” nothing is happend. When i click it again, now the filter works again.

We want that the filter works after first click.

You see that the url is change during filtering. That is not neccessary.

Can you help us?

Thanks for your efforts so far!

The thing is, on a clean install, with elementor, and the required plugins, I cannot replicate your issue.

So it has to be, plugin, theme, configuration, or environment.

If you could answer this question, so I may continue debugging:

Am I ok to disable plugins etc, change theme and show debugging info on the front end etc? or is it live?

ONLY elementor doesn’t work with search engine …

I put another plugin (Custom Post Type UI), another template, I turned it off, I deleted it – but it doesn’t.

The Elementor Pro update has been released today, it can’t be the reason, because it hasn’t gone so far.

Do you have a elementor page to see how it works? Because this is currently an untenable condition.

Ok, so I followed this link: https://searchandfilter.com/documentation/3rd-party/elementor/

and,

1. Created archive page using elementor pro that replaced the ‘GeneratePress’ theme’s archive page.
2. Used [searchandfilter id=”123456″ action=”filter_next_query”] on top of posts in archive page (created by elementor pro)
3. In the Display method, used option “As an Archive”, and left template options blank.

So its working fine now. But I am not sure if what I did is the right way. And in the backend I am getting this message:
“Notice: You have not specified a custom template file for your results – this may lead to unexpected behaviour when displaying your result”

Hello,

Everything is working except when I click on anything that has a link it does not open that page. When I right click and open in new tab it works. I took out the search functionality from the the page and the links work as they are supposed to having built the template section with jetengine’s custom post type and elementor’s builder. I have tried a number of things from adding code to changing the z-index, but cannot seem to target the problem. I looked in debugger, but did not see anything that would stop this from working. Thank you in advance for your help.

We had a similar issue to this recently, however it looks like yours may be different.

Elementor, has a template designer (Templates from the main WP admin) which allows you to customise the product archives, this should work fine, as long as you set Display Results Method to WooCommerce Shop, and you are using latest Elementor Pro (2.5.1)

For the WooCommerce shop page, you actually don’t need to follow any of the steps on our Elementor Docs page, so now I’ve just added in a new note regarding WooCommerce:
