Hi Trevor and thank you for your answer.
Correct, I am using Elementor Pro, however I created a custom widget for the archive (which uses the loop) to display the posts the way I want to, with custom fields, etc.
If some custom JS is needed to make it work, it’s perfectly fine. Also since it’s a custom widget, I can change it to make it work with the plugin. Just give me some directions 🙂

I can see that your are using Elementor Pro, yes?

The archive posts on the page, are they output using a Posts Archive post module? If they are, we do not (yet) support that module. Instead, you would need to use the Posts module (our plugin will cause it to use the Post Type, Properties, that you want to display).

(Note that the Javascript shown is for the classic layout. If you examine the javascript, you will see where that might need to change, maybe to cards or custom)

Hello,
I bought the plugin in order to filter an archive page of Custom Posts using Elementor.
I want to filter for a Custom Field.
I tried what you explain in the documentation but it’s not working.
Does this plugin work only with Post Module or is it possible to make it work also with the Archive Module?

Ah, I understand, I think. You have a Parent category, and inside are children. You want to be able to search only children?

This is only possible if instead the Parent is its own separate taxonomy. This is discussed here a little:

Or use a third party grid builder that we support, such as WP Bakery Page Builder (from CodeCanyon), Divi Builder, Beaver Builder, Elementor Pro or the free (or Pro) Post Grid plugin.

Hello Trevor, and Paul.

I can confirm that the plugin works well with Elementor Pro and Ele Custom Skin loops.

The only issue I’ve seen up until now is that pagination is displayed incorrectly the first time the page loads, then it is fixed when you click on a page number.

For example:
In a query that should’ve shown 8 pages of posts, the pagination shows links for 14 pages.
If you click on any page number between 1 and 8, the correct page loads, with the right content. Also, the pagination is fixed and will now show only numbers 1 through 8.
But, if you click on any invalid page number (9-14), the results come up empty.

My question is: why is that first page showing an incorrect number of results?

Hello Trevor,
The tabs refering to post and not to produtc so when i try to search them on the elementor widget post they are not present because isee only the post categorie and not the product categories.
On the search form it is correct but i need that in the widget post under the search form i do ont see all products but only that included on the search.

While I don’t know if it will work with Jet Engine listings, I would suggest you follow the instructions here:

Add the javascript code to your theme, and it might/should work!
