Hello, I’m struggling to make S&F Pro work with my current architecture.
I have a rather large category heirarchy (122 items, 3 levels deep).
I am using Beaver Builder for site design and Beaver Themer for archive pages.
On the archive page template, I have a S&F shortcode which targets a Beaver Builder post module for the results. The archive works correctly for the posts that should display there, but when I try to filter further with S&F, things break.
I’m sure this is because of the Results URL under Template Options which is supposed to be set to the target page where the shortcode is displayed.
However, since this is a dynamic situation where the URL varies depending on the archive, this is not working. Under General Settings, I have “Detect defaults from current page” set for tag/category/taxonomy archives.
Please tell me there’s a better way than having to build separate S&F search forms for every individual taxonomy.
Thanks.
Hello,
I have a similar (or the same) issue like described in “Using ACF select field for dropdown (label/value issue)” (https://support.searchandfilter.com/forums/topic/using-acf-select-field-for-dropdown-labelvalue-issue/).
I am using Search & Filter Pro, ACF Pro, CPT UI, Beaver Themer and Beaver Builder to create a Beaver Themer Layout Archive to display a resource list with some filters.
For that I created some custom fields with ACF Pro where I only specified labels (not values) for the Choices (for example for a checkbox). That worked and the filter displayed the labels like I wanted.
Then I changed the Choices of the custom fields by specifying both the values and the labels. So I added the values (e.g. red : Red).
Now, after that I have the problem, that the filter are not displaying the labels anymore but the values when I open them in an incognito window.
It’s also weird that when I check the filter via the Beaver Builder preview mode, that only the filters with Conditional Logic are displaying the values and the others are displaying their labels.
I also like to add that I changed the naming of some custom fields in this process and reconnected them etc., but for me that looks fine and the filtering itself works right.
Can somebody look into it?
Hi,
I have a problem getting AJAX to work on page designed with Beaver Builder. It is not an archive or a layout / part made in Beaver Themer – just a normal page.
I am using it exactly as described here: https://searchandfilter.com/documentation/3rd-party/beaver-builder/ with the integration plugin installed and by using the normal Posts Module with the “Columns” layout (but I’ve tried Masonry too, which gave me the same result).
I have also set the Results URL correctly in settings, and it seems like it should all be working, and it does if I’m not using AJAX, but with AJAX it just “blinks”, and nothing changes when filtering.
I kept the “change URL…”-setting turned ON because it works if I go up to the browsers address bar after filtering and simply hit enter, OR if I turn AJAX off. I can’t find any console errors.
Please help me figure this out. I really want to use AJAX with this plugin.

Hi,
I’m using Pods and have two custom field on WooCommerce products event_date and end_date and I need the end user to be able to filter for these on the front end.
I’m also using Beaver Builder, Beaver Themer and PowerPack Content Grid.
Help is very much appreciated.
Thanks,
DaveHi. I’ve got a page that I’ve built with Beaver Builder and Themer that has 4 separate Post Grids with custom queries (tapping ACF) for a CPT for a taxonomy (job function). I want to filter by a separate taxonomy of Location and have it refresh on the same page (no redirect or anything) with S&F Pro.
Is this possible? I’ve fiddled with settings this evening but not getting it working right. I did start building a page out of php so could go that route, but would prefer I be able to keep this in Themer so the editor can deal with other bits on the page more easily.
I saw that someone inquired as to Themer at the end of October but I think he was using a Main Query.
Thanks for any tips/insights.
