I was wondering if it is possible to have a link that when clicked would take the user to the filter with some options pre-selected based on the link rather than always loading the page with everything. I have the filter with the results displaying using the ajax option.
Thank you,

Had a similar issue, this has been resolvedhttps://support.searchandfilter.com/forums/topic/link-to-search-results/
“Make sure you are using the latest version (1.3.0), then tick “make searches bookmarkable” (you can untick this after we are done)….when you change the dropdown the URL will change..
Simply copy the URL once you have made a selection to know what URL you need to “preselect” the search form – repeat for each option”Have it up and running on a dev site.
Hope this helps and good luck
NickAnonymous(Private) December 15, 2014 at 9:41 am #9078Thanks for the reply Nick. I updated the plugin to version 1.3.0 however when I make the update the filter seems to stop working. I can check off the options on the side but nothing happens. When I revert back to version 1.2.7 the filter works perfectly again.
Any idea why this could be happening? I would love to use the “preselect” link feature.
Thanks!
Anonymous(Private) December 15, 2014 at 9:56 am #9079Sorry Andrew it worked perfectly for me, I have no idea why this is happening
The method I used was to install the plugin in a clean WordPress install on my local machine to test then upload to a dev site which worked out of the box (note: the licence has to be activated for this feature to function).
Keep at it and good luck

I suspect you may have a JS error which is causing problems with the correct redirects – v1.3 introduces JS only redirects – which greatly improves speed however it is prone to breaking when you have other JS errors on your page.
Thanks
PS thanks for the suggestions Nick 🙂
