Hi,
I have a site with new search and filter forms. One for a directory and one for a job board The directory works fine using the “keyword search”. It searches and retrieves content from posts of a that specific directory post type.
However, the second search & filter form for the job board, does not find any results from post content though I know the search terms used should not come up empty. In fact, I get results instead from the directory instead.
I checked that Relevanssi settings is indexing both post types and checked that there is no difference (besides post type) between the filter settings for both filters.
Not sure what the issue is 🙁
Anonymous(Private) February 13, 2017 at 6:20 pm #89837I just renewed my license today.
I purchased a single license, but use it on one live site and two dev sites (one local and one password protected staging site) it should work on all, yes? I mean, it does work on all sites, but could that be the reason the keyword search is not working on my staging and local sites? (I haven’t yet pushed the job board search to the live site).
Trevor(Private) February 14, 2017 at 4:07 pm #90076It should be working OK on all. Did you update the plugin to 2.3.2? You may have to do it manually, using ftp. Do NOT delete it from WordPress admin, as before v2.3.1 it will delete the forms as well.
Is it some key words or all? Remember the text search by default only searches titles and content, not custom fields, categories, tags or taxonomies (which can be enabled if you use the free Relevanssi plugin).
