I have a post type product with different taxomony terms – desktops and computers.
I have set up 3 serach forms, one for desktops, one for computers and one to select either the desktop or computer search from.
However I am getting the error message
Error: There are 3 Search Forms set to use Post Type Archive display mode for the post type Products – you may only have 1I need the display to be product for each one.
How should I set this up?
Is there a way to combine all the fields in one search form and then only show some of them depending on which taxomony term is selected? I’ve enable Auto Count and I can see it says ‘Dynamically update the count number shown and also calculate which options to hide in your tag, category, taxonomy & post meta (choice) fields.’
How do I calculate which options to hide?Trevor(Private) February 9, 2017 at 9:31 am #89073The Hide Empty option in each field should do that for you. As long as you have a field in the form for the taxonomy/category you need to detect. I think there is an option also on the Display Results tab that effects this (Enable filtering on Taxonomy Archives).
You can hide/show form elements using Custom CSS

Conditional revealing/hiding needs javascript, as you already know.
Apologies for my poor choice of words in the previous post.
