    Hi,
I am having the same exact issue on this site:
    http://www.womenwhodraw.com

For example “chelsea o’byrne” brings up no results, but “chelsea” does.

Is there a solution in the works?

    Thanks,
    Jenny

Hi Jennifer, your license is expired.

I believe this issue was resolved in a plugin update, so if you renew and update and you should be good to go 🙂

    Hi Ross,

Do you know what version of plugin update this was resolved in?

I renewed and updated my plugin to v2.2.0 (on December 19, 2016) and was still experiencing the problem – has it been resolved since that version?

    Thanks,
    Ciarán

    Hi Ciaran

Jennifer was using a very very old version of S&F, and yes this issue was resolved, around 2.x mark, can’t quite recall.

I’ve tested the most recent version just now (2.3) and no issue with apostrophes. Ensure you’re on 2.3 and test again, but it looks like what Trevor said, it could be an encoding/db issue.

I believe both your issues are in fact different, so if you can continue over in your thread, and we will try to find Jennifers issue here.

    Thanks

    Thanks!
The apostrophe is no longer an issue with version 2.3
