Tagged: acf, advanced custom fields, cpt, custom post types
Hello!
We are using Search and Filter Pro to filter wine products which is a custom post type with acf fields we created. We want the search form to be able to show results of the acf fields values.
Link to website and search form: https://caskmoestue-staging.pixeltokig.se/sortiment
For example if we search for “Viura” we do not get any results. “Viura” is the value for a acf field named “Druvsammansättning” as you can see here https://caskmoestue-staging.pixeltokig.se/produkter/altos-r-blanco.
how to we make the search form be able to index and search in all words/acf fields in a custom post type?
Thank you so much in advance!
You want to be able to do a textual search outside the normal WordPress Post Title and Content?
Install the free Relevanssi plugin. Set it to also search Excerpts. There is a setting for custom fields, put the word all
in there. Select the post types, categories, taxonomies you want to search also.
In Search & Filter, use the Advanced tab and tick the Relevanssi setting.
