Forums › Forums › Search & Filter Pro › Trouble Updating With Divi Theme
I use Divi, which (in my case) uses their blog module for generating blog entries.
I am trying to use ajax to filter the results on the module and not have to jump to a unique results page.
I’m not sure if this is possible. I see the page refreshes, but it does not update correctly with the filtered results.
My custom blog page is at /divi-blog/
I have set the slug in “display results” as the same, so that I can keep the user on the same page.
The url is a development site, so I can not provide a public url.
Please let me know what information I can provide so that you can help me.
Hi Greg.
It is a question of figuring out how to re-trigger Masonry. What I do not know is how to do this in Divi, but someone at Divi or on their forums will. It is a question asked quite a few times. The basic javascript required is this:
(function ( $ ) {
"use strict";
$(document).on("sf:ajaxfinish", ".searchandfilter", function(){
console.log("S&F JS ajax request finished");
// ** here you need to reload your masonry script **
});
}(jQuery));
But I do not know what goes in to replace that one line.
