Hi,
I installed Your plugin to my test page to get familiar with it. I want to use Your plugin to create lists of posts with custom data.
I have build a search form and used Post Meta field with date range and Meta Keys for UI to show the list of posts. But unfortunately I can’t get the results I need. I use custom field in my posts to show the dates of trips (it is a travel site).
Can You help me out? Let me know if You need more information.
Thank You.
Anonymous(Private) December 14, 2016 at 4:33 pm #76249Hi,
The search results are here http://kontiki.convertonline.ee/otsingud/
I want that the user can filter the posts within date range. But if you insert any date range – no results found.
I think, that I have something wrong in admin, but I can’t figure it out.Trevor(Private) December 15, 2016 at 11:24 am #76481Are you able to look into the WP Database and the Post Meta table to see how they are stored? If they are like
2016-12-25
I do not think that this will work. The screenshots show you defining the fields. What plugin is this that you are using? Is it Custom Content Manager? If so, I think that is withdrawn from the WP plugin repository for being unsafe. What different data format saving options does it give you? I can see mySQL yyyy-mm-dd
The one I use in ACF is the jquery
yymmdd
format (which saves as 20161225).Anonymous(Private) December 15, 2016 at 2:28 pm #76550Hi,
Thank You for Your reply.
No, I can’t get to database and yes this is CCTM plugin which is clean after the new release.
And data format saving options are:
Default mm/dd/yy
MySQL yyyy-mm-dd
Short d M,y
Medium d MM, y, Full DD ,d MM, yy
With Text ‘day’ d ‘of’ MM ‘in the year’ yyTrevor(Private) December 15, 2016 at 2:35 pm #76554If you download and install this plugin (do NOT leave it activated after use):
https://downloads.wordpress.org/plugin/adminer.1.4.5.zip
It should let you view the database, open the post met table and search for a post id that you know has a date saved and look to see what is saved.
