    Hi Trevor,

    Which one would you recommend: using custom taxonomies or custom fields for filtering in terms of speed and database querying?

    I am not sure that there would be any great difference. From an SEO POV, use taxonomies where it would look right and be descriptive in the URL, otherwise use custom fields. Of course, use Custom Fields in many cases because Taxonomies cannot do it (like maps, number values etc).
