Forums › Forums › Search & Filter Pro › Search field text cursor not staying in place
Hello,
I’m using version 2.2.0. With ajax tuned on, when doing a search using the search field, after the results are displayed the text cursor in the search field keeps moving to the beginning of the text string.
Is this a bug? How can I prevent this from happening?
In version 1.4.3, this wasn’t an issue.
Many thanks in advance
It sounds like a javascript error. Since the release of WordPress 4.5, which uses a new version of jQuery, we see a lot of errors, always caused by other plugins and/or themes. As a general place to start looking, if you are viewing a page with Ajax/javascript issues in Chrome, open the inspector (ctrl+shift+I, I think) and look in the console tab for red highlighted errors.
