Forums Forums Search & Filter Pro Using ACF select field for checkbox (value/label issue)

I have a “Post Meta” filter with the Choice tab set to checkbox.
Using an ACF checkbox field with “value : label” pairs, eg: “001 : horse”
I have “Get options” set to “automatically” and “Is ACF Field?” checked.

Displaying this filter on the search page results in a list of value’s instead of labels.
This thread looks to share the same issue: https://support.searchandfilter.com/forums/topic/using-acf-select-field-for-dropdown-labelvalue-issue/

I could add all options manually, but as this used to work in earlier versions and I have a lot of filters to process I would much prefer this to be fixed.

What earlier version of S&F Pro was this not an issue on? I may need to talk to the developer about this.

Sorry, I’m not sure. I think it must have been at least two versions prior.

I will bring this up when when next have a meeting, probably Monday or Tuesday.

Is it possible for me to have admin logins by private reply?

I totally missed your last post Trevor. This is currently a local dev version on my laptop, but it happens on other WordPress sites that I’ve build too. Following some of the related threads regarding this subject, it seems there is a development version which could possibly resolve the issue. I am about to enter a large amount of manual value/label entries due to this issue. It would be great if I could use the auto load option. Would save a ton of work and possible mistypings.

It has indeed been resolved. BTW, we had email issues back then 🙁 Resolved now also.

Send me and email address that will accept zip files (many will not, or often put it in junk or spam) and I will email it to you.

    Manual installation instructions:

    1) Deactivate S&F in WP Admin Plugins page (do not delete, otherwise you will lose your search form)
    2) Via FTP, delete search-filter-pro folder from the wp-content\plugins folder on your server. If you wish to keep the folder, just in case, do NOT rename it, instead move it UP a folder into the wp-content folder.
    3) Unzip the file that you will receive.
    4) Upload the search-filter-pro folder to the wp-content\plugins folder on your server.
    5) Activate Search and Filter plugin in WP Admin plugins page
