Hello,
I had S&F Pro working perfectly in development (on the same server as production). However, after deactivating the license in dev, changing the site URL in my design and code account, and then reactivating on the live site. Now it won’t let me select the Shortcode display method. So when I go the results page like normal, I see a message saying “Notice: This Search Form has not been configured to use a shortcode. Edit Settings”
So in the display results tab in the form setting, I selected Shortcode, entered in the results url, and checked the option to use Ajax.
However, whenever I go to update the settings, it gets reverted back to As an Archive display method.
Please advise. Like I said, this is on the same server as it was in dev when it was working great. So not sure what the issue is now. I even tried disabling all other plugins in case there was some sort of conflict, but no help.
Thanks,
Ryan

Bad part is I lost all my forms. But wasn’t too bad to recreate. Since I had already styled and created custom templates, all I had to do was update the ID in my stylesheet and template file name and everything is back up and working fine now.
Trevor(Private) July 29, 2016 at 8:20 am #52575In future, for ANY WP plugin, this is how to manually update safely:
1) Deactivate S&F in WP Admin Plugins page (do not delete, otherwise you will lose your search form)
2) Via FTP, delete search-filter-pro folder from the wp-content\plugins folder on your server. If you wish to keep the folder, just in case, do NOT rename it, instead move it UP a folder into the wp-content folder.
3) Unzip the file I will have sent to you.
4) Upload the search-filter-pro folder to the wp-content\plugins folder on your server.
5) Activate Search and Filter plugin in WP Admin plugins page -
