So I just installed the plugin and am putting together my Search Results page using shortcodes but the results are not displaying correctly (for example, the Tags are displayed but it shows the count is 0 – which is incorrect). I have Auto-Submit enabled, as well as Display Count.

I’m getting an error with the JS according to Chrome’s console:

search-filter-build.min.js:1 Uncaught TypeError: t(…).searchAndFilter is not a function

I think this might be causing this and a few of my other problems.
I’ll post a link to a test page of my search results page below.
I’m using version 2.1.2 of Search & Filter Pro.

You are correct. WordPress is loading jquery, but then either your theme or a plugin is loading it again. This is not permitted and causes the error you see. It might be a slideshow plugin?

Cool, so I just had an extra jquery loading. I removed it and I have 0 errors in the dev console now.

However, the Category and Tag count are still displaying 0.

Can you use a Private Reply to send me admin logins? I will look in the morning if you can do this.

    Hi

I am concerned that it simply does not find the product posts (0’s for all the cats etc).

Can you install a dev version of the plugin? Send me your email by private reply and I will send it to you and I will post instructions here on how to install it safely.

I have emailed it to you. Follow these steps to manually install:

    1) Deactivate S&F in WP Admin Plugins page (do not delete, otherwise you will lose your search form)
    2) Via FTP, delete search-filter-pro folder from the wp-content\plugins folder on your server. If you wish to keep the folder, just in case, do NOT rename it, instead move it UP a folder into the wp-content folder.
    3) Unzip the file I will have sent to you.
    4) Upload the search-filter-pro folder to the wp-content\plugins folder on your server.
    5) Activate Search and Filter plugin in WP Admin plugins page

Let me know how you get on.
