Querys for Search and Filter run through TWICE?

It is not normal, so I would suspect something odd in the theme or the form setup or the way you have integrated the two.

Ok, I checked if it might be twice because of the shortcode usage (one for the filters and one for the results), but this is not the case. What’s interesting is that the query once comes from search-filter-pro/public/includes/class-search-filter-query.php and once from search-filter-pro/public/includes/class-search-filter-cache.php. Maybe it’s caching related?

Indeed it could. How many posts is it caching, and if you edit the form, how long does it take to re-build the cache?

We’re caching between 5000-6000 posts. Rebuild takes (estimation) 30-60 minutes.

I think that is the issue. I suspect that the cache is failing to build right. I think Ross may need to take a look.

I think it is almost certain that ross will need admin and ftp access, so if you could put those in a private reply?
