Hi there not sure exactly what has happened but the Search and Filter widget has disappeared. For the life of me I cannot get it to reappear. Generally the plugin has stopped working as no search links that have been created are producing any results.
Please could you offer any support.
Thanks

Could you provide login details and also if possible an explanation of anything that may have changed at the same time as the plugin stopped working?
Thanks
RossAnonymous(Private) September 17, 2014 at 9:13 am #4760I had switched off all of my plugins and then when I turned it back on the form had disappeared. All is working however not as it should.
The multi select is not displaying correctly.

As you can see the multi select shows as a list.
The following link works well

Not sure what it is that is interfering.
Any help is greatly appreciatedRoss Moderator(Private) September 17, 2014 at 12:27 pm #4775Hey Mark
Its hard to say really, however if you look at your JS console you have a few errors there and maybe that is what is causing those multiselects to break – although the working link seems to have the same set of errors.
Sometimes when you load/unload a plugin the order it is loaded is changed, so maybe by disabling plugins etc the order the plugins and their JS is loaded is changed, and that has meant those JS errors in your console are causing problems with your multiselects.
I would suggest trying to fix those errors first and possibly as an alternative try disabling / enabling Search & Filter, so its priority is changed and this may be a workaround for those JS errors :/
Let me know 🙂
Thanks
Anonymous(Private) September 17, 2014 at 9:31 pm #4788Hi Ross
Thanks for the advice
I followed your instructions and tried turning all off and just your plugin on but no joy.
Then I have copied the order from the other database but still no joy.
Not sure how to resolve the JS errors as some of them seem out of my control.
I have contacted a couple of the guys who have created the plugins.
It is really annoying as it works on the test but not on the real one.
Any insight / advice would be greatly received
Thanks
MarkRoss Moderator(Private) September 19, 2014 at 2:13 pm #4852Hey Mark, its really hard to say really – as you say, there is a difference in environment which is causing the issue, so locally its fine, but online its not working – so the problem lies in some specific configuration of your online setup – I would always recommend fixing those JS errors first anyway as the other workaround I mentioned was just an idea :/
The only other thing I would try, to isolate the problem, would be to do a clean install on your online server (under a sub folder maybe) and test the plugin there – then we can really get an idea of where the problem is.
Thanks
