Tagged: attributes, woocommerce
Hi guys,
My client who is using the search and filter pro plugin (love it by the way) on a WooCommerce site, is wanting it to return results based on attributes, but this is not happening. I’m aware you can put in an attribute field to select an attribute, but we are wanting the search to return products with an attribute. So for example, a shirt that has the attribute “pink” with the taxonomy of Color will not be returned. The only ones that are returned are ones that have “pink” somewhere in the title or description of the product.
Hope that makes sense. Is there any way in the settings or the code to include attributes in the search query?
Thank you for your time and any direction will be appreciated.
Hey Trista
I think what you want is the Relevanssi integration:
http://www.designsandcode.com/documentation/search-filter-pro/3rd-party/relevanssi/
This means the text search will also search inside any custom fields or taxonomies your define (attributes are either of these usually)..
Hope thats what you were looking for
Thanks
