Forums › Forums › Search & Filter Pro › how to filter inside one taxonomy terms
actually i am using the plugin properly to make a global filter/search function of the complete website.
on some pages i would like to create a filter that allow refine one taxonomy terms or one category only.
and i do not want this parameter to be changed
taxonomy1 filter = is forced to be equal to one term of this taxonomy1 (user cannot change this)
taxonomy2 filter : all taxonomies2 terms (user can select any term of taxonomy2)
taxonomy 2 filter = all taxonomies3 terms (user can select any term of taxonomy 3)
one exemple for movies
if taxonomy1 is = black and white, color, high definition, 3D, animation
taxonomy2 : action, drama, comedy
taxonomy 3 : mute, vo, vostfr, fr, EN
on the page of black and white movies
i want to keep taxonomy1 = black and white
i want to allow users to refine with taxonomy2 and taxonomy3
inside the results of the filter taxonomy1 = black and white movies (that cannot be changed by user)
Hey Xavier
This is a feature that is coming to the plugin in approx 1 week – possibly a few days more 🙂
Thanks
Hey xavier – it was more than a few days – but the new update has this functionality 🙂
