    Hi!

We want to create a page with about 20 products (will grow) and each product with about 40 features. The best example for our wishes is this site: http://skinflint.co.uk/?cat=umtsover#gh_filterbox

I have some questions – is it possible with your plugin to achieve a similar …
    (1) … filtering-functionality? If not, what can not be achieved with your plugin?
    (2) … table view of the results?
    (3) … comparing-functionality (see table view, checkboxes left side)?
    (4) … “add column”-functionality for the search results? (left column checkbox in filter-section to add categories into the table view-results)

Have you any recommendations to realising this project with your plugin?

Additionally I would like to know:
    (5) What is the difference between Single Site- and Developer-License?
    (6) Is your plugin open source?
    (7) Can you or an external coder add needed functionalities (see above)?

    Looking forward to your answers!

    Best wishes,
    Ronald

I do not think that a filter similar to what you show as an example is possible with Search & Filter out of the box.

    (1) Yes, that should be possible
    (2) The Search & Filter ‘results’ are simply presented as a WordPress ‘archive’ page. If the theme you have works that way, then they would be presented that way, but WordPress does not normally do this, so it would need to be a fairly customized theme. Not something we get involved with, but some content customizer plugins, like Visual Composer, maybe with addons, might be able to make a table like this.
    (3) This is not offered by Search & Filter.
    (4) This would be very difficult to do, and makes me think that the example page you show does not use WordPress, but is more likely to be something like Drupal and custom coded.
    (5) currently the developer version can be used on many sites with one license code, the single cannot.
    (6) The plugin is sold subject to a the GPL-2.0+ License
    (7) Due to work pressures, we are unable to accept paid requests for plugin modifications at this time. An external coder can modify the source code, as it is not encoded in any way, but doing so causes many problems and risks at updates.

    Hi Ronald

Your project would take a LOT of hours for a coder to achieve. It is not something we could even remotely consider becoming involved with. I cannot begin to think where you would find such a team, but be prepared for a major expense for such a project (5 or 6 figure sums are likely). I am going to close this thread, as this discussion is way outside the scope of technical support for this plugin.
