    Hello,

    I’m really confused about how this works. In my settings I have both Posts and Pages checked.
    In the search form, I have a dropdown for category, a dropdown for contributors and a search field.

    If I don’t select anything from the dropdowns, and just type in a search term, I get results showing every single post, whether that term is in the post or not. No page show in the results, even if I uncheck posts and only have pages checked in the settings.

    I’ve tried both AND and OR, but I do not see a difference.

    Maybe I just don’t understand how this works, but I think there may be something else going on. Can you take a look and see if you can figure it out?

    You helped me get this working with shortcodes in the php templates prior to this.

    Is it possible we can use share screens on Skype? It would require you to have:

    Skype on your PC/Mac
    A Skype account
    A decent internet connection
    A reasonable sized screen on your PC/Mac (tablet will do do)
    A webcam, or at the minimum a mic
    You being comfortable with speaking English

    Follow up…I tested the search with the WordPress 2016 theme and all plugins deactivated and the results are the same. No pages are searched and all blogs are appearing in the results.

    It probably didn’t work for 2016 as it would need to be configured very differently. I may have to pass this over to Ross, I will let you know.
