    Hi,

I’ve set ‘Search in following post types’ to ‘Products’ and ‘Display results method’ to ‘WooCommerce Shop’. I then added my search form as a widget to my Products page (which happens to be my homepage as well). But somewhere something goes wrong. If I select a value of tick a checkbox, nothing happens but a change of the URL. If I then refresh, I get a page with my posts, not the products I requested.

    URL is http://www.oschaslingsdatabase.com/

I have disabled Ajax for now but that doesn’t seem to make a difference. I’d be grateful to be pointed in the right direction as to what I’m doing wrong.

    TIA,
    Pam

    Hi Pam

You have identified a bug when using WooCommerce shop page on the homepage, with S&F.

I’ve just fixed this and emailed you an update – let me know if this fixes your issue.

    Thanks

    Hi,

    Yes that’s better 🙂
However it seems the auto post function isn’t working now. The URL changes and if I refresh I get the results I’m after, and the whole filter also refreshes nicely to only show options that are left (for example colours available within my filter parameters) but I do have to refresh (or use a submit button) before I actually see the results on my homepage.

Thanks for your work so far,
    Pam

*Make that auto submit instead of auto post, sorry.

All solved – thanks so much! The last issue was no bug but just a wrong setting on my side – the results selector was wrong for the ajax request – it was set to #main and I needed #pagecontent.

    Happy customer!
