    Hej,

I am using an Extra theme now from elegant themes.

I have created reviews as blog posts. And each post has its own taxonomies. You can see in the picture: http://prnt.sc/agln39

Now I use the Extra Theme’s option “blog feed” template to have the standard looking blog posts. (http://prnt.sc/aglof0 http://prnt.sc/aglpe2 )
Problem is that when I filter the results in S&F nothing happens. Is there something wrong with my settings? How can I get the S&F find the blog posts? I have tried the

I have just made my site live so it becomes easier for you to check the issue.

    Hi

I have followed the link you have given and tried the search and it appears to be working. It looks like you have Ajax enabled as the page refreshes live as I select options. Am I missing something?

    Hi Trevor,

    Thank you for responding.
I tried it now but still not working even when I unchecked the “Load results using Ajax?”. I don’t know how is it working for you. When I select “Dan Norris” from Authors the results is not filtered.

    What am I doing wrong?

Yes, I see the same now. You have the display method set as shortcode?

Yes like here: http://prnt.sc/aglqe9 except now I have the Ajax unchecked. Is the display method the problem?

It depends. The result page needs that results shortcode used on/in it. Is it in the page?

Yes I have checked again and the short code is there.

Is it possible we can use share screens on Skype? It would require you to have:

    Skype on your PC/Mac
    A Skype account
    A decent internet connection
A reasonable sized screen on your PC/Mac (tablet will do do)
A webcam, or at the minimum a mic
You being comfortable with speaking English

I am at work right now, I will fix up the webcam when I get home and I’ll get back to you.

Meanwhile when I don’t use any templates or modules the search filter works but then blog posts doesn’t look appealing. I need the standard looking blog posts which is offered by the “blog feed” template. And the search form doesn’t work with it. I don’t know if this explanation helps at all but thought to mention it.

    Thank you.
