Good Morning,
We have a website that we just completed that has a work portfolio using “and” logic to filter projects. It has two main subcategories: “Market Segment” and “Construction Type”. Currently it treats all categories equally, so if you choose two different market segments, or a market segment and a construction type, it will only show projects that are in both categories. The client wants to be able to change it so the user can click on multiple market segments and have it use “or” logic so they see all of the projects in both, but then add a construction type and have it use “and” logic. So for example, the user would be able to see all the projects that are in both the “Office” and “Retail” market segments, but then only see the projects among those that are also in the “Tenant Improvement” construction type. The page in question is here:

Thanks,

generaltab. Then within each field, if they are multiple select, you also then have a secondary relationship that acts within this fields and its selections alone.
I’ve been considering for so long to add more complex query logic in, but, its a huge task.
You can imagine how complex it would get when you start to think about how the order of the query also matters when using combinations of AND / OR between fields.
Thanks
