I just recently upgraded my Search & Filter Pro plugin to fix an issue with the hierarchical taxonomy filters, but I’m running into a new issue. I’m sorry if this has been addressed elsewhere and I didn’t see it, but my form doesn’t seem to be picking up all my posts.
I have a custom post type called Videos that contains 2,230 posts, of which 2,125 are published. My form only seems to be picking up 996 of them, so if I do a search or use one of the filters, posts that I know should be there don’t come up. I’ve tried rebuilding the cache multiple times and it doesn’t seem to make any difference. When I’ve rebuilt the cache, it said it cached 2230 posts, like it should. But then the counts in my form are wrong? I’m also using Relevanssi Premium (recently upgraded from the free version) and have the search field set to use Relevanssi, if that makes any difference. I have also rebuilt its index multiple times. We started noticing the issue just after upgrading Relevanssi.

What happens when you disable Relevanssi with S&F? (head to the advanced tab, and untick the Relevanssi options)
Thanks
Ross Moderator(Private) February 3, 2016 at 8:34 pm #36175Ok then it sounds like another setting causing this.
Check the
Tags, Categories & Taxonomiestab, and thepost metatab – try emptying out all the settings here and testing again.BTW, you probably don’t need to keep rebuilding the cache in S&F (unless you are talking Relevanssi).
S&F rebuilds its own cache automatically when required.
Thanks
Anonymous(Private) February 3, 2016 at 9:02 pm #36177Ah… that’s it. On the Tags, Categories & Taxonomies tab, I had a few terms excluded for one of my taxonomies. I guess I misunderstood what that would do. I just thought that would make the terms not show up in the form, but I thought that all the posts would show up so that they could be found by other terms, just not the excluded ones. I didn’t realize that any posts with those terms assigned would be excluded as well.
Thanks for your help.
