Page load in Google Chrome - Search & Filter Support

Hi,

We are having an issue with your plugin on this page http://voicetalentire.staging.wpengine.com/search-results/.

When using Chrome, the page is perpetually loading. This doesn’t happen on Firefox or IE.
I have tried toggling all of the plugin settings and disabling AJAX in the form settings but this has had no effect. There aren’t a huge amount of posts, only 60 or 70.

This is causing problems for us because while the page is ‘loading’ we are unable to play WordPress audio elements in the page.

Can you please offer a solution?

Hi Mark

Having a look at your network log, the only thing I can see that is preventing your page loading from being complete are you audio files.

Chrome is downloading some of them as soon as the page is loaded – perhaps because with S&F you have a ton of them listed on one page, it takes some time to download?

BTW our movie demo is hosted on WP Engine and works fine across all platforms – I created a test page using the results shortcode:

In the sidebar you can find a search form that uses the “archive” display method.

In addition, I have also noticed the issue here:

Whereas it does not occur here:
