    Hey Gino

    The most common cause of this issue are some conflicting settings.

    Please empty any settings in teh “Tags, Categories & TAxonomies” tab, and also the “post meta” tab.

    Then try again.

    Both are clear. I rebuilt the cache and still no categories. I even tried changing themes.
    Any other suggestions?

    That’s just crazy. I reactived the plugins and the theme and it appears to be working with the one you created. I probably should have tried that before I bothered you.
