Hello Ross and Happy New Year,
I am pretty new to WordPress (coming from Joomla World) and would like to ask you a couple of maybe very simple for you questions:
1. What sort post type are you using in your movies demo Post? Page or Custom Post type ?
2. What do I have to choose in order to display the results page same as your movie example
Display results method:
As an archive or shortcode or post type archive
3. I have a Services category for all my Service partners (engineering, motoring etc). If I wish to create another search filter based on location how would I do that ?

Hey Alex, happy new year to you too.
To answer your questions:
1) Custom post type called movies (made with th plugin “CPT UI”)
2) Do you mean the ajax effect? You must enable ajax under the display results tab, either will allow for reloading results without refreshing the page, however “as archive” will allow for more seamless integration like the movies demo.
3) You would create another taxonomy – please see here:
