Search stops working after I add more user questions

Hi,

I’m building a website that should enable users to answer 8 questions and be ‘matched’ with an ecolodge that fits the preferences they select. I have figured out how to format the questions using the taxonomy button (using custom taxonomy for posts), using checkboxes, and the auto count. It works great, up until the point I add more than 6 questions (so 6 taxonomy buttons, plus the ‘submit’ button). Up until the 6th question, I can see it auto counts all the posts correctly, the checkboxes can be selected and it searches/filters correctly. If I add one more question, all the auto count numbers go to zero and no matter what checkboxes are checked, there are ‘no results’. If I remove a question or two, it doesn’t go back to functioning (as though the ‘damage’ is done!). I have rebuilt the form at least 10 times now and have had someone more knowledgable than myself look at it in detail, and we are stumped! I really hope you can help me figure out this problem. (I am not a website builder or coder, so please explain any reply with that in mind).
