Ultimatum Theme issue - Search & Filter Support

Hi , Just purchased the plugin couple of days ago , i am using ultimatum theme , i cant get the plug in to work ,

– ultimatum theme templates are not in php files (or i couldnt find them)
– i added the plugin in a widget in a side bar and added a wordpress loop with no luck
– this is very urgent kindly help and support .
– when i select a category with posts inside it shows that no results available !!
– i have even tried it with no Ajax with no luck

Hi Leonora

That is correct.

As mentioned in the documentation if you want to use a template from your theme then it must use the main loop and use WordPress standards.

What Ultimatum does is a little unconventional and for themes like this we recommend to create your own template by using the shortcode method and customising the results that way:

All that being said, I am actually talking to the guys at Ultimatum for the last few weeks to see if there is a better way to integrate – one that involves their template builder.

So I can keep you posted on that but can’t give you timelines – I have made some changes to S&F for Ultimatum which they are aware of – so now I am waiting to hear their feedback and see if there are any further changes we need to make.

Thanks i appreciate it , please let me know if you guys reach to an integration , because also i was planning to use Custom layout loops from ultimatum , but i guess this wont work for now .

Ah yes, its almost ready!

We have a nice integration setup but just working out the final bits and pieces.

Then of course, Ultimatum need to do a release with S&F support, as well as we need to a plugin update too to support Ultimatum.

I’ll let you know the timings once we work out these last few things 🙂
