    Hey Marcos

    Thanks for the message.

    Unfortunately, the checkbox option was a feature that had crept in by mistake and had not yet been completed.

    Its never worked in S&F, and somehow only became visible again after a bad merge.

    So essentially, I am planning to implement this but its not ready yet.

    That being said, I’ve added a bunch of new options (eg, from/to fields) for numeric post meta which will be out in the next release – hopefully you will find something suitable there.

    As we’re now closed until the 4th, I’m emailing you this in case you want to give it a spin, just remember to backup current S&F files in case you need to roll back to a previous version while we’re closed.

    Thanks

    I’ve also been having problems getting the ranges with checkboxes to work, this seems to explain it. Just to confirm, are you saying that there’s a feature on it’s way which allows numeric value ranges assigned to check- or radio boxes? So that I could have, say, three radio boxes like:

    All (range: >=0 or any)
    1-19 (range 1-19)
    20+ (range >19)

    Another thing I would love to have is a simple checkbox where unchecked it would return all entries and checked it would return those with a value of >0.

    I would surely be interested in beta testing if this is already possible.

    Hey Morton

    As mentioned above, the checkbox option is actually not working at all.

    Its something I plan to implement.

    RE your first example,

    All (range: >=0 or any)
    1-19 (range 1-19)
    20+ (range >19)

    This looks like its better suited to the radio option, which contains an “all” option at the top of the list.

    To me, it wouldn’t make sense to allow users to select “All” and “20+” at the same time, logically speaking – a radio button (single select) seems better suited to this purpose.

    Another thing I would love to have is a simple checkbox where unchecked it would return all entries and checked it would return those with a value of >0.

    This also relies on checkboxes, which are not yet implemented. Your best bet would be to use a choice field type visually, however they only support exact matches on values – perhaps you could add another meta key, to act as toggle for this field.

    The next version of S&F has some new display options for post meta (no checkboxes yet, sorry), as well as a filter you can use to modify the options in your fields – I hope this will get you closer to the effect you are after.

    I anticipate releasing this in the next couple of days.

    Thanks
