    Hi
I have a custom post set up to list accommodation properties and there are many ACF custom fields (70+)for the facilities within the properties. I also have 2 loops, one with multi posts and the other with the main post of the property, and a taxonomy of the town/city they are located.
I want to display search results based on the custom fields and display them as in the multi post loop, each one has about 6 custom fields feeding in.
Can you give me some basic instructions about setting this up please.
I tried creating a shortcode version of D&C and it works fine with the taxonomy but I’m having problems setting up the search by field name.
    Regards
P.S. I probably should say my site running on the Ultimatum Theme and using Wonderloops which includes ACF.

    Hey Paul

I’m actually talking to someone at Ultimatum about better integration.

I know when using the shortcode method (under the display results tab) it should work fine- but its not tightly integrated with the layouts.

Are you saying there is also an issue with the shortcode method I just described?

I tried creating a shortcode version of D&C and it works fine with the taxonomy but I’m having problems setting up the search by field name.

    Can you elaborate on this?

    Thanks

    Hi Ross
    Thanks for your reply.
I guess you are talking to Trevor at Ultimatum (if not, let me know), he has been trying to help me over the past few days and seems to be getting close to the reasons behind this. I think describing the problem would be far better coming from him as he is technically streets ahead of me to be honest.
If it helps, I would be very happy to let you into my site…just let me know.
Apart from my needs, I think the combination of Ultimatum, ACF and your plugin would be a pretty powerful force so I wish you luck in solving it.
    Kind regards
    Paul

    Hey Paul

Thanks yeah, its Trevor I’m in touch with 🙂

We’ve setup a testing site and are looking at options for better integration.

I’ll update when we make some progress as I’m sure he will too.

    Thanks

We’re almost there 😉 Just waiting on some last pieces and I think they will be working together brilliantly!
