Forums › Forums › Search & Filter Pro › Search field – Search for exact word
I have a site where people can upload their resumes. I have a lot of taxonomies to sort them for your exact needs.
I have an issue with the free text search field though.
I would like it to search for the exact word I’m writing (if I write two words, the post most contain both words anywhere in the post), but right now if I search for, say “sue” it would also find any post containing “issue”.
Is there a way to make it search for the exact word?
Hey Line
The S&F search box behaves pretty much the same as standard WP search – so its not directly possible.
However I’ve integrated support for Relevanssi – http://www.designsandcode.com/documentation/search-filter-pro/3rd-party/relevanssi/ – which may allow you to do this (it has tons of options for improving the functionality of the search field).
Thanks
