Tagged: migration
Hey Ross,
Just moved a site over from dev to production and did a mysql find/replace to update the urls. When I go back into the SaF plugin, all settings are at default AND when I try to update them, nothing happens (the page refreshes and settings remain at default – can’t change them). A) did I migrate SaF wrong? B) why is it not refreshing now? Should I reinstall and reconfigure?
Hey Dan
I’m not sure to be honest. I had a user report a similar issue when using the CPT UI plugin, and disabling that before importing worked.
Apart from that, it could be to do with the fact that all the settings for search forms are saved and serialised heavily, which means Search & Replace scripts might fail or cause errors when processing S&F forms.
Its something I have tried to look into, but the cases are pretty rare and hard to replicate.
Thanks
