Hy Ross,
I will soon buy the plugin, but first I need to know:
– Is there a possibility of filtering just by years (YYYY) or do I need to always have the day, month and year?
– Will there be an option to display the searched terms in the post excerpt and highlight the searched term (generating an excerpt with the terms highlighted)?

Hey Lucian, you need to have d/m/y – currently only a datepicker format is supported, you have a few options for displaying the dates though such as:
YYYY/MM/DD
DD/MM/YYYY
MM/DD/YYYY
Re the search terms, the plugin does not that that unfortunately, I’m not sure if this is a feature I would include, but you could use this plugin with another plugin such as Relevanssi which supports this to get the desired effect 🙂
